The Mefo MOM 18-0 is great for hard enduro. It is versatile because although it is not an extreme mousse, it can be used very effectively in some 140 tyres to create the same effect as an extreme mousse. (The Mefo MOM 18-0 does not fit the Metzeler or Pirelli 140 tyres because they have a larger volume). From extensive testing of tyres and mousses, we know that different tyres have different volumes, despite having the same statistics. Although this makes things far from simple, it actually gives you a broader range of options when it comes to finding the perfect tyre and mousse combo for what you need. (See below)

Use the MOM 18-0 in combination with…
These extreme, gummy, soft tyres (double rim lock essential):
•Mitas EF07 double green 140/80-18: This is a nice soft set up for hard enduro.
Or in these standard enduro tyres for faster, technical hard enduro riding or where durability is also crucial:
•Mitas EF07 single green 140/80-80: This tyre is the same pattern as the Mitas EF07 double green but with a harder compound for greater durability. Still a soft set up overall with this mousse but with a harder tyre/nobbles.
