The MOM 18-1ex fits most 140/80-18 tyres. However from extensive testing of tyres and mousses, we know that different tyres have different volumes, despite having the same statistics. Although this makes things far from simple, it actually gives you a broader range of options when it comes to finding the perfect tyre and mousse combo for what you need. (See below)

These extreme, gummy, soft tyres (double rim lock is essential):
Mitas EF07 double green 140/80-18: This set up is really versatile for extreme enduro. It is ideal to fit the MOM 18-1ex for a couple of rides before your competition. Great for Erzberg main race, Romaniacs main race or British extreme races.
Mitas Terraforce double green 140/80-18: As with the EF07 double green but the Terraforce is a bigger volume so the MOM 18-1ex is great for competition straight out of the box.
Or in these standard enduro tyres for faster, technical hard enduro riding or where durability is also crucial:
Mitas EF07 single green 140/80-80: This tyre is the same pattern as the Mitas EF07 double green but with a harder compound for greater durability. The mousse will need a couple of rides to bed in to make it the perfect softness for competition. Still great for hard enduro, however go for one of the above extreme tyres if maximum traction is your goal.
Mitas Terraforce double green 140/80-18: As with the EF07 single green but the Terraforce is a bigger volume so the MOM 18-1ex is great for competition straight out of the box.
Mitas XT754: This is a soft mousse set up with a standard tyre. The mousse will need a couple of rides to bed in to make it the perfect softness for competition.
