STACYC is an electric-powered kids bike that bridges the gap between push bikes and bicycles/motocycles. It features stable bike geometry, low seat height and in addition to its powered modes, it also allows for easy push and glide (without battery power) so it can be used as a normal balance bike.
The STACYC comes in 2 sizes: eDRIVE 12 and eDRIVE 16 (see other listing for the latter).
STACYC eDRIVE 12
This is the perfect choice for little rippers from age 3-5 years (or inner leg 14 -20 inches). Your child can learn to push, balance and coast in the non-powered mode. Graduate them to the powered mode as they show proficient use and understanding of the brake and the ability to coast and brake whilst standing. The ability to stop is more important than the ability to go at this point! Start them with a speed similar to what they can push the non-powered version at, and they learn the use of the twist throttle. Coasting eventually leads to constant use of throttle and your little ripper is away. (This is the bike that we have chosen to start our toddler on and he has taken to it so well. There is no stopping him now!)
